Nicole Hughes - September 2021
Nicole Hughes has become one of our nation's strongest voices for water safety and drowning prevention. After her three year old son, Levi, drowned in the summer of 2018, Nicole has made it her mission to do all that she can to end the epidemic of pediatric drowning.
Nicole has partnered with the American Academy of Pediatrics, advocating that swim safety should be discussed with parents as crucially as car seat seat safety. If you see a water safety poster in your child's doctor's office, chances are it's because of Nicole.
Heather and Sarah were so honored to be able to chat with Nicole about her story and what her words of advice would be for our town, Gig Harbor, WA.
